Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Hair Clipper 2 Set Edition in China. The kit comes with extra attachments designed for precise touch-ups and decorative cutting, priced at 189 yuan ($25).

The key addition in the Set Edition is a fine-trimming attachment alongside a decorative-cut attachment. The first is intended for neat work on sideburns, around the ears, and the hairline, and it can also help achieve short cuts such as a buzz cut or more traditional men’s styles. The second is made for shaping lines, geometric patterns, and personalised designs. Both attachments feature a titanium carbide coating.

Blade, length settings and water resistance

The clipper itself uses a two-layer, high-strength blade that is expected to be more wear-resistant and to heat up less during use. It supports 19 hair-length levels and two speed modes, while the body is protected to the IPX7 standard.
