Xiaomi has announced that it is now taking pre-orders for the new Mijia Electric Shaver Pro Set. The kit was initially listed at around $100, but an introductory discount brings the price down to $85.

What’s included in the Mijia Electric Shaver Pro Set

The package contains the shaver itself, a multifunction wireless charging dock, a trimmer for sideburns, a trimmer designed for removing nose hair, and a gift box.

Wireless charging dock: charging, sterilisation and air drying

The wireless charging station combines three functions: recharging, sterilisation, and air drying. Once the shaver is placed on the base, an automatic sterilisation mode starts by itself.

Shaving system, motor and smart sensors

The shaver uses a built-in foil with a dual-ring structure and corrugated blades, covering a larger area than standard foils. The stainless-steel dual rings move in intersecting back-and-forth motions to catch and cut hair.

It is fitted with a high-speed motor capable of roughly 5 million cuts per minute. An intelligent chip performs about 100 real-time measurements per second, automatically adjusting speed depending on beard density. The device also features a 360° omnidirectional floating head that follows facial contours. In addition, a built-in intelligent pressure sensor monitors how hard you press, helping to prevent skin irritation.

Display, USB-C charging and battery life

A colour screen shows the operating mode and the remaining battery level. Charging is via USB-C, and the shaver is rated for up to 95 days of use between charges.
